Here are some useful queer friendly community resources that our family has had experience with.

SIDEKICKS BERLIN

nightlife - harm reduction

Sidekicks is a queer harm-reduction and safer nightlife project. They focus on sexual health, substance use, and safer sex education for the LGBTQ+ community.

QUEER HOME

QUEERHOME* is an independent advisory and support organization in Berlin that assists LGBTIQ+ individuals experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness. It offers anonymous counseling for those facing eviction, discrimination, or needing help finding a safe home.

health - std - prep

Checkpoint BLN is a queer, community-based sexual health center. It provides HIV/STI testing, vaccinations, PrEP/PEP prescriptions, and judgment-free counseling for gay and bisexual men, as well as trans, intersex, and non-binary individuals.

counseling - day center

An AWO Stadtteilzentrum (run by the Arbeiterwohlfahrt, a major German welfare charity) is a neighborhood community center. These centers offer social counseling, integration support for migrants, and local leisure activities to bring residents together.
